Simple, basic, creamy but with a fresh zing.  Try serving this with whole wheat pita chips, toast, or crackers.  
 

Makes approximately 1 Cup

 

ELEMENTS:

One ripe AVOCADO, peeled and pitted

One HARD BOILED EGG, peeled

Juice from half a fresh LEMON

Tiny bit of minced GARLIC

SEA SALT and fresh cracked PEPPER to taste

 

APPLICATION:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.  Mash and stir until desired consistency.  Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

 

TIPS:

This is a great basic from which one can spin off into a dozen other recipes!  Think avocado mayo, creamy avocado ranch (yeah, dairy free!) dressing, avocado pesto, etc.!  Stay tuned for more avocado-egg concoctions.
